Frequently Asked Questions

For Residential students, Check-in and orientation will be on the Sunday before each session begins. Check-in will be between 2–4pm. At 4:00pm, we will hold an orientation and welcome meeting.
Day Students will have a brief orientation and welcome meeting at 8:30am on the first day of the session.

You will receive your group assignment and schedule at orientation.

On the last Saturday of each session, there will be a performance. Each student will be allotted 2 tickets for their families. If families require more tickets, they may put in a request for more tickets.

Guardians of Day Students will be allowed to watch the first 15 minutes and last 15 minutes of class.

Upon arrival for Orientation, students will be required to take a covid test in front of staff. Please bring 1 Rapid COVID test for testing at Check-in.

Dancers are encouraged to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. See CDC guidelines.

You will be required to submit an examination form that must be completed by your healthcare provider. This form must be signed and dated within a year.
All participants are required to submit a copy of their immunization record signed and dated by their general physician. This is required by the New York State Health Department.

Students are only allowed to leave Kaatsbaan during planned excursions. Guardians are also allowed to check-out students on weekends with prior approval.
