Kaatsbaan Pro-Studio/Stella Abrera®

Stella Abrera, Director

This summer at the idyllic cultural park of Kaatsbaan, American Ballet Theatre Principal Dancer Stella Abrera will launch Pro-Studio/Stella Abrera®, a unique program designed for world-class dancers who are in the early stages of their careers. These young professionals will train in Kaatsbaan’s cathedral-like studios, find inspiration in the property’s natural beauty, and advance their journeys from athlete to artist with coaches of the highest caliber.

Culminating a three-week residency of artistic exploration, the showcase will feature a select group of young American Ballet Theatre dancers presenting a range of classical, neoclassical, and contemporary repertoire, as well as new work adapted by renowned choreographer, Jessica Lang. Discussions with Ms. Abrera, Ms. Lang, ABT Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie, and Pro-Studio dancers will take place throughout the evening.
